Zitran is a subscription-based, air-conditioned bus transit service launching in Accra, Ghana. We offer daily commuters a reliable, comfortable, and affordable alternative to tro-tros and ride-hailing — with guaranteed seats, live tracking, and flexible payment options.
We're launching in Greater Accra, covering key commuter corridors including East Legon, Tema, Kasoa, Madina, and Accra CBD. Routes will expand based on demand from our waitlist community.

Plans start from GHS 350 per month for daily commuters. We also offer daily and weekly options. Early bird members who join before launch get up to 20% off the launch price.
We accept mobile money (MTN MoMo, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo Money), debit/credit cards, and cash top-ups at select locations.
Every Zitran ride includes air conditioning, a guaranteed seat (no standing), GPS live tracking, and professional, verified drivers. Select premium routes also offer onboard WiFi.
No. While our mobile app offers the best experience, you can also access core features via USSD by dialling our shortcode from any phone. Details will be shared at launch.

You need a valid Ghanaian driver's licence (Class B or higher), at least 3 years of driving experience, a clean driving record, a smartphone, and strong communication skills.
Captains earn competitive weekly wages above market rate, with performance bonuses and incentives. You also get health support, fuel allowance, and professional training — all at no cost to you.
You provide the buses, we handle everything else — drivers, routes, maintenance coordination, and daily operations. You receive weekly commission payments directly to your account.
No. There are zero upfront costs to partner with Zitran. We manage operations at our expense. Early partners also get reduced commission rates for their first 6 months.
Zitran Access is our wheelchair-accessible para-transit service using retrofitted Toyota Voxy vehicles with hydraulic ramps and 4-point wheelchair securing. It's designed for riders, caregivers, and healthcare facilities across Greater Accra.
Zitran Access rides must be pre-booked at least 24 hours in advance through our app or by phone. The service is currently being planned for Greater Accra with a Q2 2026 target launch.
